We have much to learn about the brain. However, this doesn't mean we haven't come a long way in understanding the brain. In fact, what we currently know collectively as the human race about the brain calls for immediate attention and action on this knowledge.

Human maturity is surprisingly insufficiently understood by psychologists in 2024, despite what they may tell you. It seems that "self-actualization" is as far as we've come in understanding human growth and maturity, and even with self-actualization, we're left with a barely quantifiable starting point.

This book aims to use our current understanding of the brain in an attempt to define maturity in humans once and for all.
